The Silver Jubilee Fund assists Girl Guides and Girl Scouts from around the world to attend international events. It was established by the women who had celebrated the Silver Jubilee of Girl Scouting in the USA by attending an international event at Macy in 1937.

The World Centers are international activity centers where girls and young women develop leadership and life skills through international friendship, community service, challenge and adventure.

The World Foundation only accepts grant applications from the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts and Girl Scouts of the USA.

The five Friends Committees promote one of the WAGGGS World Centers or WAGGGS and solicit funds on behalf of the World Foundation within the United States.

There are opportunities to volunteer at a World Center for two to six months.  There are also paid positions lasting from one to three years.  Check out each World Center's website to see current opportunities and application forms.
